Terms of Sales

All prices and publication dates are subject to change without notice. Books will be invoiced at the prices prevailing at the time an order is received. Orders from individuals must be accompanied by payment. VISA and MasterCard are accepted. All foreign orders must be paid in United States funds and drawn on United States banks. Discount schedules are available on request.

Shipping Charges

Customers billed on account are charged for shipping at actual cost.

Individuals and other customers who prepay are charged for shipping at the rate of $5.00 for the first book and $1.00 for each additional book if the shipment is going to an address in the United States. If the shipment is going outside of the United States, including to Canada, the charge for the first book is $10.00 and for each additional book $6.00.

Returns Policy

Current editions of clean, resalable books may be returned within 18 months of invoice date. No prior permission is required, but all of the following conditions must be met:

1. All stickers and sticker residue must be removed
2. A debit memo must be enclosed stating the reason for return and original invoice number(s). If the original invoice number(s) are not supplied, credit will be issued at the highest maximum discount.
3. All shipping charges must be prepaid.

Examination/Desk Copies

Requests for examination copies of paperbacks must be submitted in writing on departmental letterhead. Please include the course title and number, date offered, and estimated enrollment. Enclose $5.00 for postage and handling for each title requested. Requests are limited to two titles. On-approval copies of clothbound books will be sent with invoice, which will be canceled on receipt of evidence of adoption, return of the book within 60 days, or payment.

One complimentary desk copy may be requested when ten or more copies have been ordered for classroom use. Requests must be submitted on departmental letterhead and must include the course title and number, date offered, name of bookstore ordering the texts, quantity ordered, and date of order.
