Rights and Permissions

Written permission is required to quote, excerpt, or reproduce material from the Catholic University of America Press publications for use in other works, including print and electronic format, and for use in coursepacks or any other media.

Permissions

To request permission to reprint or reproduce material from a publication of the Catholic University of America Press, or to reproduce and distribute portions of a book or journal published by the Catholic University of America Press for educational course and seminar use by students, professors, universities, and libraries, please contact:

Requests must include the following information about the publication you wish to reprint: author or editor name, complete title, year of publication, page numbers, and/or figure or illustration numbers.

Please also include the following information about your project or use of the material: author or editor, complete title, publisher, estimated publication date, page count, price, distribution (US only, worldwide), format (hardcover, paperback, electronic), and print run.

Print Disability Policy

To request an alternative format for a student with a documented disability, please email your request to cua-press@cua.edu or fax to 202.319.4985. Confirmation of the book's purchase will be required. We will provide electronic files of the book free of charge. Should a PDF not be available, we will grant permission to convert the book into the desired format.
